Bachelor's Degree in Applied Foreign Languages

I think that getting this Bachelor's Degree in Applied Foreign Languages was essential before taking a Master's Degree in Professional Translation. I took language classes, which allowed me to improve my skills in languages, but I also studied law, economy, industry (especially the automobile and aeronautic industries) and IT. I was then able to acquire a strong knowledge of the fields I translate.

Intern in Translation

I did this internship at the end of my Master's Degree, in a translation agency in Lincoln, Eastern United-Kingdom. This experience allowed me to practice everything I had learned during my years of study at University, and also to develop my interpersonal and human skills in a professional world. I translated a great number of documents into French in various fields – legal, marketing, economic, editorial, automobile, etc.
